Various in this 1930’s village, dirt street with vendor stands on both sides, HA some kind of parade, group of armed men with a leader on donkey, police pushing people, white robed women walking with leaders on donkeys. Various, man being led chained, CUs African men, a cross on a man’s chest.
16:02:57 - 16:05:03 >>> Parade of uniformed soldiers, a band, men on horseback, a 1930’s open type limousine with people pass before spectators. Group of native chiefs watching, drummers on donkeys beating large drums, parade continues.
16:05:04 - 16:13:06 >>> Large crowd of white robed African men, tribesmen carrying spears, crowd gathered around and watching drummers beating large drums, line of men bowing one stringed instruments, CUs one and CUs instrument and bows. Various at racetrack, Haile Selassie on a throne like chair, horses racing, many British people with pith helmets and women in western dress, large silver urn presented to Selassie. Vintage Rolls Royce limos pass in review and Selassie walks past escorted by British military. Rolls limos pull up to palace and Selassie stands in doorway protected with an umbrella.
16:13:06 - 16:15:18 >>> Train in station, POV armed men walk past camera. Soldiers on horseback ride away in formation. Royal ceremony with men wearing crowns. Various, crowds of white clothed armed men, an altercation, men walking in ceremony, train pulls in to station, POV train window the countryside.
